I am a playwright who's drawn to the sharp edge where humor and discomfort meet. My work explores contemporary relationships, power dynamics, and social expectations. With a foundation in ensemble-driven storytelling and a strong focus on dialogue, I create work with a strong message behind it. Through my writing, I aim to provoke, entertain, and invite audiences into conversations that linger long after the final moments.
My Story
My journey as a playwright has been shaped by both rigorous training and a deep commitment to telling stories that challenge and connect. I trained as a playwright with the National Theater Institute at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, where I developed my voice as a writer and strengthened my understanding of structure, collaboration, and theatrical storytelling. More recently, my short film Aged Out was produced, expanding my work into film and allowing me to explore storytelling through a new lens, literally. My current play, The Man, continues that exploration through dark comedy and social critique. The piece was accepted into an advanced playwriting workshop led by Ren Dara Santiago and Max Yu, who are currently supervising the final editing and development of the script as it moves toward completion.
